CONSISTING OF 4238 & 92/100 ACRES. Partial map of Lake Superior at center. Early Keweenaw County, Michigan copper mine. The Cove Land operated from 1874 - 1877. Unissued. Price - $90.00
1918 SOUTH LAKE MINING COMPANY - Incorporated (in 1909) Under the General Mining Laws of Michigan - Bright orange 100 share certificate issued to George F. Lawton. This was a Houghton County, Michigan copper mine. Signed by Richard. M. Edwards as president and Arthur C. Paine as secretary. Unique vignette shows a rugged Michigan landscape.
